Art is not just for galleries and cafés, but above all for the streets, amongst the people. It should please and inspire us and make us think even during our normal routine.

An adaptable space for visitors and options for interactive entertainment is planned in the outdoor area in front of CZECH PHOTO CENTRE: creative photography in various environments using cameras amusingly incorporated within an XXL sized artwork, an outdoor stage…

The street aims to provide fulfilment to young people especially, but not only them. It aims to draw ‘ordinary’ Prague citizens into the artistic process, and become a place whether they can discover the work of leading Czech and international photographers and street art installations. It aims to create an artist’s zone outside the city centre.

The parterre also offers space for taking a seat, so you can enjoy the artworks exhibited in peace. As such, an unconventional open-air gallery is created where you can see art exhibits on your way to work or shop, or where you can stop, take a break and draw new inspiration in the fresh air.
